This serum is my holy grail now. Now that i am in my early 30's im really obessing over skincare. This serum does just what it claims. I use this when i wake up and when i go to bed. I use this before my moisturizers and facial oils. I definitely have noticed a big difference in the darkness in the contours of my eyes. I use this on the bottom contour of my eyes. And i also use it on the top contour of my lids. I actually don't know if you are supposed to use it on top but i do. Careful though not to get it in my eyes

I love this stuff!! Honestly, I had really low expectations because it was insanely cheap, but it has replaced all my acne products/my whole night routine. It is VERY effective in getting rid of like 99% of my acne. The one thing is though it is kinda slow- definitely not overnight results, but seriously give it 2-3 weeks and you'll notice your face will be way smoother and less bumpy. I use 3-4 drops/night and like all other The Ordinary products, I go through it pretty fast. But it's cheaper than even the drugstore products so it doesn't hurt my wallet when I have to repurchase. I went from an extensive routine to using just this + moisturizer and my skin looks way better now than it did before.

Best salicylic acid product on the market. I know, that seems like a far-fetched statement, but I’ve tried them ALL and this one works the best. I have oily/combination skin, so I only use this once daily in my nighttime routine and my skin is so clear. I’m even on my “monthly” right now - which usually means a few zits and blackheads pop up. Nope, nothing. My pores look smaller and all around my skin is so so so much better. You can’t beat the price of this product, so even if it wasn’t the best - I would still be impressed. I’ve only been using it for two weeks and I ordered two extra bottles just so I never run out. I love it!

NOT JUST FOR BREAKOUTS!

This was the 1st product I tried by The Ordinary and I’m 43 with no breakouts! I just use it on and around my nose and on my cheeks and it quickly reduced the size of my pores! I swear it rid me of a couple of blackheads around my nose that’d been there since ‘89! It cleared up the tiny bumps that show up around the bottom sides of my nose. I only switched this one product into my routine so I know it’s the cause of the awesome effects! I ordered a lot of different items from The Ordinary when I first started using the brand... I mean it’s easy to go overboard with prices like these! Especially if you spend far too much on skincare products!!! But, I stick to 2 rules when adding in new products - 1st patch tests to be sure the product agrees with my skin, and 2nd only add in 1 new product every 2-3 months! This helps save me from an embarrassing breakout, but also helps rule out culprits if my skin acts up in any way! I never go without a replacement bottle of this! With the price so low? I used it where I have KP on my legs and saw a dramatic difference in how it, along with a good oil mix on top got rid of the bumps! Like many of the serums from this line, it’s sticky and takes a few minutes to soak in! If it turns a little white when you apply it? That’s normal, but can be an indication you may be using too much! Hopefully this helps some of you who wondered what this can do besides help with breakouts!!

How to use: apply a small amount of this serum onto your skin before your daily skincare routine. Some customer reviews stated that it leaves a tacky feel on their skin but after they put on a moisturizer it goes away; therefore, it is best to use moisturizing cream to eliminate the tacky feel. The serum that got me into skincare (seriously). This brand makes all of my holy grail products because of their price and quality. The “buffet” serum has many moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients and has made the largest difference in my skin. I’ve been using buffet for about 2 weeks and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in the tone and texture of my skin. I have hormonal acne which usually leaves dark spots and the cysts normally reappear one after the other. Limit sun expose while using this product because your skin will become more sensitive and susceptible to sun burn.

I'm 22 years old and I've had acne since I was 10. I then developed cystic acne in high school causing me to have really deep acne scars that only seemed to worsen into my early adulthood. I've been using this serum for 2 months now and my skin has looked the best it ever has. I have no more dry spots, I'm not as red as I used to be, and the depth of my acne scars have lessened considerably. My skin is not perfect but since I started using the lactic acid, I'm no longer ashamed to go out without makeup if it absolutely cannot be avoided lol. I have been using this at night for about 3 months and it has done wonders for my pigmentation (Melasma from pregnancy 10 years ago). Works! But don't use as recommended straight away

I have sensitive oily skin and my skin can get angry with strong acids. I use this 2-3 times a week, but instead of leaving it on all night, I use it almost as a mask. I put it on and keep it on for 15-30 minutes (I'm gradually increasing the time). It does its job in those few minutes and then I just rinse with water and apply my moisturizer like normal. This has made a big difference in rapidly fading my acne scars and melasma. I suggest easing into it. It gives you baby soft skin and you can actually see the effect in a week or two. Will definitely repurchase.
