The Ligne St. Barth laboratory is located on one of the most beautiful islands of the Caribbean: St Barthélemy. The business itself is family owned and operated by the Brins, whose French ancestors settled in the 17th century on this island, and St. Barth skin care products are exclusivly manufactured there, containing all the active ingredients of the plants, fruits and flowers of the Caribbean from which they are extracted. Their texture and fluidity have a natural affinity with the skin. Every St. Barth product complies with the international regulations of the cosmetic industry. They are PABA free, not tested on animals, and approved by dermatologists. Ligne St. Barth is the first producer of sun care products with Roucou. The laboratory has established a partnership with the last Caribbean Indian Community to supply roucouyer seeds, seeds which the Indians of the Caribbean grind and use to to protect themselves against the sun, heat, salt water and mosquitoes. Hence, a unique pharmaceutically refined seed complex is the base of the St. Barth's sun care line. When the resultant products are used, the skin becomes rapidly tanned and incomparably seductive, with great suppleness and long lasting color. |
