1. What is your favorite product from your line?
It is hard to nail it down to one. I would like to name my basics: gold wash day, gold emulson day and eyemulsion. You cannot have a healthy glowing skin without proper cleansing. Our surroundings are very polluted and microdust is sitting on your skin. Forget all these cute oils, milks.
2. What is your favorite product from someone else's line?
With skin products I am a total snob, I try a lot but knock on wood, I am better :) I know how complex our alchemy production is and how selective we are with quality and freshness of raw materials. I buy candles from Fornasetti, Roya Dove, Amouage, Agrari (NO DIPTIQUE please)
3. What is your motto?
I strive to be the best whatever I do. If I sold french fries, trust me these are the best fries you ever tasted. Making no compromises on quality. Anything else is a waste of time.
4.Cats or dogs?
Dogs for their loyalty. I grew up with dogs. But I find cats fascinating for their independence..not their scratches.
5. One beauty trend you wish would go away.
a) All the cover up stuff. When you can have healthy clear skin with the right products, no matter what your condition is- let your beauty, your “you" shine…. wear masks only on Halloween.’
b) Wearing obnoxious fragrances that you can smell a mile away. takes my breath in elevators… toxic for the wearer and the people around.
6. What city has the most beautiful people?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder…. I see beauty everywhere: it is a joint venture between authenticity, consciousness and divine presence.
7. What advice would you give to 18 year old you?
Don’t buy chemically loaden products, stay with a simple, but disciplined routine, a mild but thorough wash without Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, moisturize, without mineral oils and silicones. And take your make up off before you go to bed, even when you had the wildest night. your skin will thank you later.
